Bag : Patchwork bag untuk emak

Well, i did find a project that can cheer me up!
it's another bag.
and another patchworks project! yeayyy!

let's begin with the pattern..
Sorry for the bad sketch..
the idea was to make an almost similar bag which siLittleHana is taking to her nursery..
so, it should be12 x 14".

the first step is to work with the fabrics..
there are still a few yards of cotton fabric left from my previous projects..
the blue bag on top of the fabric is the original bag..
as you might have noticed, it already in a not-so-good condition..

my siLittleHana joined me and provided some 'helps'..

for patchworks, we need a lot of fabric strips..
for this project, i cut the fabric to a few 12x2" pieces.
like this....

then, we can start to sew all the pieces..

until we get two pieces of this...

for the base, let sew another piece of 18x5" fabric which has different print..

and...
tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......

as in the picture it is :not completed..
there are still few steps to go.
1. lining
2. handle

will update later once it is completed.

ermm..
i think the size become a bit bigger than the one originally plan....
